Methodology and Usage
For the evaluation of construction measures, the BNB provides measurable and verifiable criteria, which are divided into six main groups of criteria.
The BNB system variant Office Buildings (BNB_B) applies to all buildings that are primarily used as office and administrative buildings.
The BNB system variant Educational Buildings (BNB_U) applies to buildings used as schools, universities and, if applicable, kindergartens / day care centres.
The BNB system variant Laboratory Buildings (BNB_L) applies to research and laboratory buildings that include a larger proportion of laboratory uses.
The BNB system variant Outdoor Facilities (BNB_AA) applies to all outdoor facilities related to buildings that are being redesigned or restored.
